I never knew the history on this saying before. I always thought it was just one of those random sayings that caught on. A few I saw are: Keep calm and call Superman (with the S at the top of course), Keep calm and ask the answer while the teacher isn't looking, and Keep calm and kiss on. I like the Keep calm and eat chocolate, as chocolate can make any situation better.
